The Dallas Cosmetic Surgery Symposium brings together the best of the best faculty in the field of cosmetic surgery. They will discuss the controversies and advances in cosmetic surgery with presentations, panels, edited video tapes as well as Q+A sessions with audience participation. In addition the attendees will have the opportunity to review the anatomy and perform different facial operations as discussed in the symposium on a fresh cadaver head in the laboratory. The focus of the symposium will be how to produce safe, reproducible, esthetic results in cosmetic surgery.

Physicians interested in learning the latest innovations and advances in surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, as well as breast and body contouring surgery.
Purpose and Content
Attendees will become familiar with the latest techniques and advances in cosmetic surgery. The focus will be on controversies and advances in facial, breast and body contouring procedures including the use of fat for augmenting the face, breast and buttock. An edited live video demonstration of the use of injectables, including new products on the market will allow for a broad overview of products, facial analysis, and technique. An optional cadaver course will be available to highlight the surgical techniques described.
At the end of the program, the attendees should be able to:
- Discuss surgical and nonsurgical options for facial rejuvenation
- Discuss the differences in the various agents available for soft tissue augmentation
- Describe advanced techniques utilizing Botulinum Toxin Type A and soft tissue fillers for facial enhancement
- Discuss different options for breast augmentation and shaping
- Describe methods to enhance survival of autologous fat
- Discuss the use of fat grafting to enhance the face, breast and buttock
- Provide a “hands on” tool to practice the techniques discussed in a cadaver model
